About Our Church

Who We Are

CompassBibleCommunity Lutheran Church (CLC) seeks to be a place of connections, readily acknowledging that this is how we were made. We were created to be connected to God and to others – to love Him above all else and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Founded on the teaching of Martin Luther, we are a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) based congregation.

Find out more about the LCMS here: http://clcvt.org/about/lcms.html

We are Bible-based, Mission-based, and embrace tradition with our Liturgical Worship.

Our Mission is in grateful response to God's grace. We're empowered by the Holy Spirit through the Word and Sacraments.

We wish to make known the love of Christ Jesus by word and deed within our Church and Community.

Our Goals

The goal of our congregation is to serve its members and spread the kingdom of God by the preaching of the Word of God, by the administration of the Sacraments, and by the religious instruction of youth and adults, according to the confessional standards of the Lutheran Church, and to foster Christian fellowship and charity.
